Dock and shore-power electrical work
Marinas, yacht clubs, private docks and waterfront houses. We wire the dock side only, and we don't wire inside boats.

New and replacement pedestals for a marina or a private slip.
Pedestal set, wired and labeled by slip
Protection tested at each circuit, readings written down
Old pedestal taken away

Dock feeders and panels
The run from the shore panel along the pier, and the disconnects on the way.
Panel and disconnects at the shore end
Cable and conduit made for wet, salty places
Every circuit labeled

Boat lift circuits
A circuit and a disconnect for the lift motor.
Sized from the motor's nameplate
Disconnect within reach of the lift controls
Protection on the circuit

Dock lighting
Post, rail and walkway lights, on a circuit of their own.
Fittings made for wet places
A switch or timer you can reach from the shore
Warm light that stays out of neighbors' windows

Waterfront house panels
Outdoor outlets, a damp garage panel, a feed to a boathouse.
Outdoor outlets with ground-fault protection
Panel moved up out of a low garage when it fits
Feed to the boathouse or a workshop

Ground-fault testing
A visit to test the protection at each pedestal and outlet, with a written report.
Each circuit tested and recorded
A list of what to fix, in order
A copy for your dock master or surveyor
What we don't do
Work we turn down
A short list, so nobody waits on a call back for something we won't take.
Wiring inside boats
Boat AC and DC systems follow boat standards. We point you to a marine electrician.
Pier building and repair
Boards, pilings and bulkheads belong to a marine contractor. We work around them.
Night and weekend calls
We work weekdays. For fire or injury, call 911.

Not sure which one you need?
Text a photo of the pedestal or the panel and we will tell you which visit fits.
